Lake Central High School

The boys’ golf team traveled to Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton for the DAC Championships. The Indians entered tied with Crown Point for the team lead. LC fired a 333 in brutal wind conditions with extremely fast greens to win. Crown Point finished second with a 343 and Valparaiso and Chesterton both shot a 353. Junior Cooper Kroncke won medalist honors with a 78 and senior Tyler Morton finished 2nd overall with a 79. The Indians will host the IHSAA sectional on June 9th at Palmira Golf and Country Club.
