Girls' Soccer and Volleyball and Boys' Tennis Have Strong DAC Performances

The boys remain atop the DAC with a 3-0 record; they're 7-1 overall. This sets up a show down with the other top conference team, Chesterton, on Thursday at LC. Varsity Girls' Soccer vs Portage Lake Central 8 Portage 0 The Blue Indians beat the Red Indians 8-0 at home last night. The Indians are now 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the DAC: They're just 1 game behind the DAC leaders. Last night, Zoe Panzica led the way with a hat trick, and Emma Murphy scored 2 goals. LC will host Hanover Central tomorrow. This game will feature staff appreciation prior to kick-off and recognition of the Dyer Kicker's Soccer Club at halftime. JV/V Girls' Volleyball vs Michigan City JV--LC 2 MC 0 V--LC 3 MC 0 The JV and V volleyball teams both swept Michigan City last night. LC is now 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the DAC. The Indians were lead by Kailey Skurka’s 9 kills and 6 digs; Lexi Iwema’s 7 kills and 7 digs; and Izzy Steliga and Lilly Barth's 30 assists.
