The LC Volleyball Program season ended last night with a hard-fought Sectional loss to Crown Point 1-3 ( 25-23, 17-25, 23-25, and 22-25). This team showed heart, grit, and unity every step of the way. Thank you, to our incredible fans who came to support and cheer on this team and create an incredible environment. LC was led by Kailey Skurka’s 16 kills and 10 digs; Lexi Iwema’s 16 kills and 11 digs; Brooklyn Barth’s 23 digs; Izzy Steliga’s 20 assist; Lily Barth’s 18 assists and 12 digs. Frosh Football vs Valparaiso Freshman football concluded their 2025 season with a 7-0 victory at home vs Valpo. The Indians were led on the ground by CJ Jones who tallied well over 100 yards on the night. The lone score came on a 51 yard Frankie Taffora strike to Jaxson Berber. Defensively the Indians frustrated the Vikings all night. Jaxson Berber had an interception in the redzone to stop their only scoring threat on the night. Nick Rangel also had a crucial pass break-up on the Vikings last drive. The defense was led by RJ Edwards, Riggens Roderick, Derek Jones, Aiden Siwinski, and Conner Donovan. The Indians finished the season with a 5-4 record.
