Varsity vs New Prairie High School (44-26) Win Our Lady Slicers traveled to New Carlisle to take on the Lady Cougars of New Prairie in a La Porte County Showdown Saturday Afternoon. The 1st quarter was full of high emotion and a back in forth battle that led to many fouls being called. The girls battled through adversity and found themselves up 1 (13-12) after the 1st quarter. At the quarter break the Slicers made some defensive adjustments that led them to only giving up 14 more points the rest of the game. The 26 points allowed is the fewest amount points allowed by the Slicers in the past 4 years. The Slicers were led by Eva Walker(Fr) 16 points, 4 AST, 5 rebounds, 5 steals Keke Roundtree (Sr) 8 points, 14 rebounds Maura Grant (So) 5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 Steals Keianah Hart (Fr) 8 rebounds The Slicers move to 4-1 on the season.
