Mr. Santana, who became the Director of Athletics in 2022, is a La Porte native who graduated from LPHS in 1990. After attending Ball State University, Mr. Santana began his teaching career at Warsaw Community HS and Lowell HS before coming home in 2000. He was a long-time Assistant Coach on the Baseball staff, and was the Assistant Athletic Director for 16 years prior to taking over his current position.

Mr. Sherman began his position at La Porte in 2022 after 19 years of teaching and coaching at Lake Central HS. A graduate of Purdue University, Mr. Sherman taught math and coached Softball and Freshman Football for the Indians.
