The Slicers faced the Michigan City Wolves and came out on top 109-46. LaPorte fielded a larger team and had an advantage in stroke events. However, a sloppy start in the 200 Medley Relay gave City the early edge. After that, it was all LaPorte. The Slicers went 1,2,3 in the 200 Freestyle behind Isabel Barron, Sarah Peterson, and Nala Hammoud. Next, Noor Hakim won the 200 Individual Medley. Hakim also won the 100 Butterfly. Grace Caviston won both the 50 and 100 Freestyle events. Michelle Clark continued her streak of improvement by winning the Diving event with a PR of 154.15. Liz Luna won the 500 Freestyle with a season best time. Cali Hatala won both the 100 Backstroke, and 100 Breaststroke. The Slicers finished with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay, behind Caviston, Hakim, Barron, and Hatala. The Slicers travel to Culver Academies on Thursday, as their record climbs to 4-1. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
