The Slicers Boys Swim team traveled to Michigan City to face the Wolves, and came out on top 112-29. To be fair, City fielded a very small team, However, our boys came out to race, and they had some really strong performances. The Slicers won every event except the 100 Butterfly. LaPorte opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay behind Roman Garay (backstroke), James Quadlin (breaststroke), Cameron Hatala (butterfly), and Carson Retseck (freestyle). Hugo Luna won the 200 Freestyle, with Freshman Noah Waak giving a strong performance to come in second. James Quadlin won both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke. Carson Retseck won the 50 Freestyle in PR fashion. Roman Garay won both the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke handily. Cameron Hatala won the 500 Freestyle. The 200 Freestyle Relay of Milo Jimenez, Hugo Luna, Malachi Talbot and Cameron Hatala won in an uncontested event. The Slicers finished the evening with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay behind Garay, Pillai, Retseck and Quadlin. They travel to Culver Academies on Thursday as their record climbs to 1-1. Always Proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
