LP Girls Swimming and Diving Picks Up Three Wins in Quad Meet vs Lowell 59-43, Calumet 85-13, and Oregon Davis 87-8

The LaPorte Slicer Girls Swimming and Dive Team picked up three wins today in a Triple Duel vs Lowell, Calumet and Oregon Davis. The LP and Lowell traded events early on keeping the meet close. The Slicers won every event vs Calumet and Oregon Davis. Grace Caviston and Sarah Peterson went 1-2 in the 200 Freestyle. Caviston also won the 100 Breaststroke. Michelle Clark won Diving with a score of 153.00. It's her second best performance ever. Noor Hakim won the 100 Butterfly. Cali Hatala won the 500 Freestyle in a season best time of 5:57.57, with Sarah Peterson coming in second. The Slicers finished the meet cruising to victory in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Isabel Barron, Cali Hatala, Grace Caviston and Noor Hakim. Shoutouts for PRs and great races and improvements go to Aleah Borkowski, Londyn Pravecek, Grace VanHook, and Liz Luna. The Slicers head to Portage next Thursday as their record climbs to 7-2.
