The Slicers Boys Swim Team hosted the Lowell Red Devils and the Calumet New Tech Warriors and was victorious going 66-32 and 75-17 respectively. LaPorte won nearly every event with several PRs along the way. The Slicers opened the meet winning the 200 Medley Relay with: Roman Garay (backstroke), James Quadlin (breaststroke), Cameron Hatala (butterfly), and Carson Retseck (freestyle). The B relay of Noah Waak, Malachi Talbot, Vijay Pillai and Milo Jimenez picked up second. James Quadlin won both the 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke. His breaststroke time was another lifetime PR. Malachi Talbot picked up another win in the 500 Freestyle, with Milo Jimenez coming in second. Roman Garay won both the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke. The Slicers finished the meet with a big win in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Carson Retseck, Hugo Luna-Zetina, Roman Garay and James Quadlin. Shoutouts to Freshmen Noah Waak and Aedan Bailey for continuing to drop time in their events, showing hard work and dedication pay off. The Slicers head to Portage on Thursday as their record climbs to 4-1. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
