The Slicers picked up a couple of wins on Senior Night in a Double Duel against the Knights of Mishawaka Marian, and the Jimtown Jimmies. LaPorte won 97-65 and 110-44 respectively. LaPorte was down a few swimmers due to illness and conflicting school functions, but our girls team really stepped up and had a fantastic meet. The Slicers opened the meet with a big win in the 200 Medley Relay with: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Michelle Clark (breaststroke), Noor Hakim (butterfly), and Grace VanHook (freestyle). Clark and VanHook both stepped up into the A Relay spot for the first time and really held their own. Cali Hatala won the 200 Individual Medley in a season best time. Hatala also won the 100 Backstroke in a nail biter. Grace VanHook won both the 50 and 100 Freestyle events. Michelle Clark won diving in an uncontested event. Noor Hakim won both the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke. The Slicers finished the meet with a big win in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Grace VanHook, Madi Griffin, Cali Hatala and Noor Hakim. The Girls record climbs to 10-2. They host a very tough Lake Central team on Tuesday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
