The Slicers fell to Highland 79-103 after a tough week of finals, illness and hard practices. To be fair, Highland brought their A game to just about every event, and earned the victory. Isabel Barron won the 100 Butterfly in a season best time. Grace Caviston had a fantastic 100 Freestyle, winning in a lifetime best time of 59.29 seconds. The 400 Freestyle Relay of Grace Caviston, Cali Hatala, Isabel Barron and Grace VanHook finished the meet with a solid win. A BIG Slicer shoutout to Londyn Pravecek, who dropped a whopping 14 seconds in her 100 Freestyle, and Aleah Borkowski, who dropped 13 seconds in her 500 Freestyle. I want to take a minute to give a Sportsmanship shoutout to Senior Co-Captain, Liz Luna, who was all over the pool cheering her teammates on. Her energy on the pool deck was a breath of fresh air. The Slicers record drops to 10-4. They host Elkhart this Saturday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
