The LaPorte Slicers Girls Swimming and Dive team lost to the Crown Point Bulldogs 188-66 tonight. Even with the big loss, there were some stellar swims. Grace Caviston won the 200 Freestyle, and then, dominated the 100 Breaststroke, winning in 1:10.90! In the 200 Individual Medley, Liz Luna had a lifetime PR. Maddi Griffin also had a lifetime PR, dropping a whopping 10 seconds! Isabel Barron won the 50 Freestyle, and finished a close second in the 100 Free. The Slicers finished the meet with a big win in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Isabel Barron, Cali Hatala, Grace Caviston and Noor Hakim. The Girls record falls to 12-7. They have their DAC Championship Meet this Saturday at Valpo. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
