Boys Varsity Basketball lost a DAC contest at Chesterton Friday night, falling 73-62. The Slicers fell behind 16 points in the first half before chipping away and drawing as close as 8 in the fourth quarter. Tim Knoll led the Slicers with 26 points, knocking down 7-7 three pointers. Griffin Ott-Large added 25 points, 8 assists for La Porte, who fell to 10-4 with the loss. La Porte is back in action on Saturday at Mishawaka.
