La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers Drop Tough Game Against Elkhart JV May 16, 2026 La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers had trouble keeping up with JV Opponent in a 10-0 loss on Saturday in Game 1. Jasmyn Moreno took the loss for La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers. The pitcher went four innings, surrendering 10 runs (six earned) on 11 hits, striking out two and walking four. Aubree Kollar and Madelynn Allen each collected one hit for La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers Rally to Defeat Niles JV May 16, 2026 La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers rallied to top Niles 7-6 on Saturday. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers trailed by as many as four runs during the game. Ava Logan, Madelynn Allen, and Addison Combs at the bottom of La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers lineup combined for four of the team's seven hits in their victory. They scored three runs and drove in four. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers jumped into the lead in the top of the sixth when Logan doubled, scoring two runs, Aubree Kollar singled, scoring one run, and Bella Escobedo hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Abby Culp earned the win for La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers. The pitcher surrendered eight hits and six runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out one and walking none. Ava Logan, the number nine hitter for La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers, led the way with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Addison Combs, La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers number eight hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers turned one double play in the game. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers play at home on Tuesday against Crown Point in their next game.
