Kieanna Simpson didn't allow a single run as La Porte defeated South Bend Adams 4-0 on Wednesday. Simpson allowed just four hits. La Porte was the first to get on the board in the fifth when Simpson grounded out, scoring one run. Three more La Porte runs crossed the plate in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 4-0. Paige White hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Shayla Sorg hit a solo home run to left field, and Mia Johnson singled, scoring one run. Madi Squire, Johnson, Allie Wiencek, and Sorg each collected one hit for La Porte. Simpson, White, Johnson, and Sorg each drove in one run. La Porte will travel to South Central for their next game on Thursday.
