The LaPorte Slicer Wrestling team defeated the Michigan City Wolves 59-18 at their dual meet at LaPorte High School. The Slicers claimed victories in ten out of the fourteen weight classes. Earning wins for the Slicers on the night were Jackson Hague, Christian Ford, Sam Pressler, Manav Patel, Brendan Maas, Landyn Hunt, Porter Ivankovig, Josh England, Wyatt Wellinski, and Isaac Kleist. Ford, Pressler, Hunt, Ivankovig, England, Wellinski, and Kleist all won their matches via a pin. The next time the Slicers will be on the mat for competition is Wednesday December 13th. They will be taking on the Valparaiso Vikings in Valparaiso.
