The Slicers hosted the Bulldogs of Crown Point, and came out on top 122-61. LaPorte won every event, and went 1-2 in several. The meet started with a 200 Medley Relay win behind: Jakob Schroeder (backstroke), Abbas Hakim (breaststroke), Otto Wildhart (butterfly), and Chaise Adrian (freestyle). Next, Roman Garay and Chaise Adrian went 1-2 in the 200 Freestyle. Gavin Crail and Karter Griffin went 1-2 in the 200 Individual Medley. Otto Wildhart won both the 50 Freestyle, and 100 Butterfly, with teammate Jakob Schroeder coming in second. Andrew Hayes made his return to the diving board, and finished first with a score of 202.05. Abbas Hakim tried the 100 Freestyle for a meet, and won, with teammate Allen Fuller coming in second. Adrian and Garay switched finishes, and went 1-2 in the 500 Freestyle. LaPorte weint 1-2 in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Winning for the Slicers were: Crail, Wildhart, Fuller, and Garay. Jake Schroeder cruised to a win in the 100 Backstroke. Gavin Crail, Abbas Hakim, and Michael Clark went 1-2-3 in the 100 Breaststroke. The Slicers finished the meet with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay behind: Adrian, Schroeder, Crail, and Hakim. The Slicers host Merrillville next Tuesday, which is also Senior Night.
