The Slicer Gymnastics Team lost to Valparaiso HS tonight 90.175 to 110.175. Even though they lost, they had a lot of firsts: new sklls, new routines, and a lot of smiles. Freshman Evie Travis placed 6th overall with a 31.975. Travis was 7th on vault 8.5, 6th on bars 7.575, 8th beam 7.6, and 6th on floor 8.3. Senior Ava Penziol was 8th overall 31.6, 5th on vault 8.75, 8th on bars 6.75, 6th on beam 7.85, and 7th on floor 8.25. Freshman Genny Witulski was 9th overall 26.6, 9th on vault 7.6, 9th on bars 4.75, 9th on beam 7.5, and 9th on floor 6.75. Sophomore Jules Schadt was 10th overall 22.525, and 10th on vault 7.55, bars 4.3, beam 4.95, and floor 5.725 with a new routine.
