The Slicer gymnasts placed 7th on Saturday at the DAC meet held at Valparaiso HS. Crown Point - 1st - 113.025 Valparaiso - 2nd - 107.85 Lake Central - 3rd - 104.775 Chesterton - 4th - 104.225 Portage - 5th - 100.525 Merrillville - 6th - 100.2 LaPorte - 7th - 91.925 Michigan City - 8th - 88.275 Senior Ava Penziol tied for 10th on vault with a 8.7 with teammate Evie Travis. Penziol also scored a 7.65 on bars, 8.25 on beam, 8.2 on floor and 32.8 in all-around. Travis scored 7.4 on bars, 8.175 on beam, 8.575 on floor, and 32.85 in all-around. Genny Witulski scored 7.6 on vault, 4.75 on bars, 6.575 on beam, 7.075 on floor, and a 26.0 all-around. Jules Schadt scored 7.55 on vault, 5.0 on bars, 3.4 on beam, 7.1 on floor, and 23.05 all-around. The Slicer compete in the Sectional meet this Saturday in Crown Point.
