Addison Hill hit for the cycle, but LaPorte Junior Varsity Slicers lost to Westville 24-14. Hill hit a homerun to center field in the 5th inning, doubled in the first inning, tripled in the 5th inning, and singled in the 3rd inning. LaPorte got on the board during the top of the 1st on singles by Kieanna Simpson and Natalie Fritzen, and scored on the double by Hill. LaPorte scored 8 runs on 7 hits in the top of the 5th inning. Sophi Meredith, Keraghan Blind, Bailey Hart and Kieanna Simpson singled followed by Hill's three-run homerun. LaPorte collected 16 hits to Westville's 18 hits. Collecting multiple hits for LaPorte were Hill, Simpson, Blind, Aaliyah Keen and Evie Travis. Kienna Simpson was the starting pitcher for LaPorte and took the loss. She gave up four hits and nine runs in 2/3 of an inning. Blind and Mia Johnson completed the game on the mound.
