LaPorte outhit New Prairie 17-11, but it wasn't enough to defeat the Cougars. LaPorte trailed the whole game, falling 9-5. LaPorte was led by Addison Hill, who went 4-4 at the plate, Aaliyah Keen and Mia Johnson with three hits, and Evie Travis, Audrey Kneifel and Kieanna Simpson with two hits each. Kennedy Fick and Johnson had doubles, Hill and Kneifel had triples, and Kneifel also added a long home run. Johnson pitched a complete game for the Slicers.
