LPVB falls to 0-3

The LaPorte Slicer volleyball team dropped a tough 25-23, 26-24, 25-22 decision in its home opener on Tuesday night against Plymouth. Offensively, Madison Copeland led the team with eight kills, while Elizabeth Anglin added six kills and Tessa Koepke tallied five kills. Avery Tulacz, Abbie DeLee and Kaitlin Wilson recorded three kills each. Lilly Buckley dished out a game-high 13 assists and Angling had nine helpers. Defensively, Emma Hull led the way with 14 digs, with Tulacz, Anglin and Shayla Sorg recorded 10 digs each. Copeland added eight digs. In the junior varsity contest, the Slicers beat Plymouth 25-16, 22-25, 15-13 for their first win of the season.
