the LaPorte Volleyball team picked up its first win of the season with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-21 victory over Munster on Thursday night. Offensively, Avery Tulacz led the Slicers with eight kills, while Kaitlin Wilson added five kills and Elizabeth Anglin contributed four kills. Lilly Buckley dished out a team-high 13 assists. Defensively, Emma Hull had 17 digs to lead the way. Tulacz added 14 digs in the win and Mia Mendoza tallied nine digs. On the service line, Tulacz had five aces with Hull and Buckley recording three aces each. In the junior varsity contest, the Slicers dropped a 25-21, 25-23 decision.
