The LaPorte Slicers Boys Cross Country team opened up their season today at home with the Jack Bransford Classic. The Slicers came out on top to win this meet for the second year in a row. Scoring a total of 18 points, the Slicers were led by Seniors Hunter Quadlin and Liam Lilly finishing first and second with sophomore Jack Miskowicz in third. Sophomore Evan Howes placed fifth and senior Charles Tonagel placed seventh to close out scoring for LP. Many other athletes had career personal records on the day making it a great meet overall. The Slicers will race next in West Lafayette on September 7th.
