LP Volleyball outlasted Merrillville 25-27, 25-16, 25-21, 25-27, 15-10 for a Duneland Athletic Conference victory on Tuesday night at LaPorte. Offensively, Avery Tulacz led the Slicers with 19 kills, while Elizabeth Anglin and Kaitlin Wilson added nine each. Madison Copeland tallied eight kills and Tessa Koepke had seven kills. Anglin dished out a team-best 28 assists and Lilly Buckley added 21 helpers. Defensively, Tulacz had 25 digs to lead the way. Shayla Sorg (19), Buckley (16), Emma Hull (16), Mia Mendoza (15) and Anglin (14) all contributed to the victory. At the net, Koepke had three blocks with Tulacz and Anglin adding two each. Tulacz led the way from the serving line with five aces, while Anglin and Sorg tallied four each.
