The Slicers Girls Swimming and Dive team traveled to Elkhart today, and beat the Lions 105-75. The Slicers opened up with a big lead, the Elkhart inched back to within 6 points after the 100 and 500 Freestyle. LaPorte had a big win in the 200 Freestyle Relay to take the lead for good. Winning for LaPorte were: 200 Medley Relay: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Noor Hakim (breaststroke), Megan Zolvinski (butterfly), and Lily Siford (freestyle). 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke: Cali Hatala 50 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly: Megan Zolvinski 200 Freestyle Relay: Isabel Barron, Grace Caviston, Lily Siford and Megan Zolvinski 100 Breaststroke: Grace Caviston 400 Freestyle Relay: Isabel Barron, Katelyn Peterson, Cali Hatala and Noor Hakim The Slicers get some time off over winter break, and travel to Warsaw on January 4th.
