The LaPorte Boys Swimming and Dive team traveled to Elkhart today and beat the lions 134-49. The Slicers faced a young Lions team, and dominated from the start. LaPorte was off it's game a bit due to our first five hour practice day yesterday. The boys were tired, but still gave their best to achieve a solid victory. Shoutouts to Roman Garay and Malachi Talbot for having a great meet. Also, Diver Marco Serna had a lifetime PR of 182.70. Winning for LaPorte were: 200 Medley Relay: Roman Garay (backstroke), Abbas Hakim (breaststroke), Otto Wildhart (butterfly), and Chaise Adrian (freestyle). 200 and 500 Freestyle: Chaise Adrian 200 Individual Medley: James Quadlin 50 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly: Otto Wildhart Diving: Andrew Hayes 200 Freestyle Relay: Abbas Hakim, Andrew Hayes, Chase Childers and James Quadlin 100 Backstroke: Roman Garay 100 Breaststroke: Abbas Hakim 400 Freestyle Relay: Otto Wildhart, Chaise Adrian, Roman Garay and Cameron Hatala Laporte gets some time off from racing over Winter Break, and travels to Warsaw on January 4th.
