The Boys Varsity Basketball finished up a weekend sweep, winning 59-58 on the road at host Hanover Central. The Slicers were led by Griffin Ott-Large with 25 points and 5 assists. Sawyer Tonagel added 14 points, knocking down 3 three-pointers on the night. Destin Matzke added 9 points and Nic Spence pulled down 7 rebounds for La Porte, who improved to 5-3 with the victory. The Slicers are off until December 27, when they host Fremont in the first round of the Steiner Homes Holiday Tourney, played at Slicer Gym.
