Chesterton came in to the LaPorte Natatorium ready to race. Their depth and talent proved too much for the Slicers, and they won 150-35. The Trojans dominated every event. We focused on our times, not what place we finished. The Slicers had a lot of PRs, so our girls should hold their heads up high. Recovering from illness, Cali Hatala Pr's in the 100 back and in her 400 Free Relay split. Megan Zolvinski had a great 200 Medley Relay Fly split, and Isabel Barron had some PR's. Sarah Peterson has dropped time in the 500 free in almost every meet, and she continued today with another time drop. Liz Luna dropped 10 seconds in the 500 Free, to finish with a smile and a great PR. The Slicers travel to Crown Point next Tuesday. The Slicers record falls to 11-6. Always proud. Go Slicers!
