The LaPorte Slicer Girls Wrestling team's season came to a close on Saturday at the Goshen Regional. In order for a wrestler to qualify for the state finals, they would need to win their first two matches of the regional. Aubrey Klettke and Anastasia O'Shea both won their first match but fell in their second match. Both wrestlers lost to the eventual regional champion which makes them alternates for the state finals. Cienna Jordan and Leah Williamson also competed in the tournament; losing their matches in the first round.
