Slicer Gymnastics Falls to Crown Point Varsity vs Crown Point High School (95.375 - 107.4) Loss The Slicers Gymnastics team fell to Crown Point in their first home meet but made many improvements. Sophomore Evie Travis led the Slicers finishing 3rd on vault 8.55, 4th on bars 8.1, 4th on beam 8.975, 6th on floor 8.8, and 3rd overall with a season high 34.425. Freshman Kate Doty was 7th on vault 8.2, 6th on bars 7.4, 6th on beam 8.075, 1st on floor with a season high of 9.25, and 4th overall with a 32.95. Sophomore Genny Witulski was 8th on vault 8.1, 7th on bars 5.95, 10th on beam 6.8, 9th on floor 6.9, and 6th overall with a 27,225. Junior Jules Schadt was 9th on vault 7.85, 8th on bars 5.7, 9th on beam 7.075, 10th on floor 6.6, and 7th overall 27.225. Crown Points Team 2 was uncontested and scored a team score of 96.35. The Slicers travel to Elkhart on Saturday, Jan. 18th for the East-West Invite.
