The Slicers Gymnastics Team had to switch their home meet against Valparaiso to away tonight and scored their highest team score of the season at 96.0, falling to Valparaiso with a 111.375. Evie Travis earned several season high scores placing 6th on vault 8.7, 5th on bars 8.2, 2nd on beam with a 9.475, 5th on floor 8.65, and 4th all-around scoring a 35.025. Kate Doty was 7th on vault 8.575, 8th on bars 7.3, 8th on beam 8.2, 6th on floor 8.575, and 6th all-around 32.7. Genny Witulski was 9th on vault 8.225, 10th on bars 5.45, 9th on beam 7.525, 10th on floor 6.85, and 7th all-around scoring 28.05. Jules Schadt was 10th on vault 8.0, 9th on bars 5.65, 10th on beam 7.475, 9th on floor 6.875, and 8th all-around 28.0. The girls keep making improvements with each meet and we are so proud of them. They travel to Portage on Thursday.
