The LaPorte Slicers (13-13) lost their wrestling match against Chesterton by a score of 48-28. Josh England (32-4) and Porter Ivankovig (28-6) both win via a technical fall, while Grant Uhlemann (23-13) and Landyn Hunt (4-4) won via a pin. Sam Malstaff (6-3) also picked up a win via a forfeit. This meet concluded the Slicers' Duneland Athletic Conference dual meets bringing their conference record to 2-5 on the season. The Slicers compete one more time before sectionals at Culver on Saturday January 25th at 9:00 am.
