The Slicer Gymnastics Team traveled to Portage tonight and lost 94.85 to 102.825. Evie Travis was 5th on vault 8.35, 3rd on bars 7.975, 4th on beam 8.425, 3rd on floor 8.825, and 3rd overall 33.575. Kate Doty was 7th on vault 8.2, 5th on bars 7.275, 7th on beam 7.9, 1st on floor 9.05. and 4th overall 32.425. Genny Witulski was 10th on vault 7.95, 9th on bars 5.45, 6th on beam 8.05, 10th on floor 6.9, and 8th overall 28.35. Jules Schadt was 9th on vault 8.05, 8th on bars 5.75, 10th on beam 65.75, 9th on floor 7.0, and 9th overall 27.375. The girls are still making improvements and working on increasing their difficulty. The Slicers host Merrillville Saturday at noon for their next meet.
