Slicers Place 2nd at Tri-Meet. The Slicers placed 2nd last night at Plymouth in a tri-meet with New Prairie. Plymouth scored 98.95, LaPorte 88.9, and New Prairie 88.35. Kate Doty placed in all events and was 1st on beam 8.55, 2nd on floor 8.6 and all-around 32.85, 4th on bars 7.45, and 6th on vault 8.25. Genny Witulski was 10th on vault 7.9, 8th on bars 5.5, 5th on beam 7.85, 7th on floor 7.5, and 8th all-around 28.75. Jules Schadt was 9th on vault 7.95,bars 5.2, and all-around 27.3, 8th on beam 7.35, and 11th on floor 6.8. Evie Travis did not compete due to illness. The Slicers host Hobart, New Prairie, and Knox on Thursday.
