The Boys Varsity Basketball team bounced back with a home win over Kankakee Valley, 70-51. The Slicers had four players in double figures, led by Griffin Ott-Large with 23 points on 9/15 shooting. Nic Spence had 15 points, 11 rebounds. Sawyer Tonagel also had 15 points, knocking down 5 three pointers and grabbing 3 steals. Destin Matzke added 12 points, 6 rebounds for the Slicers. La Porte improves to 13-7 on the year, with three games to play in the regular season. The Slicers resume action next Friday night at Merrillville in a DAC showdown.
