The Slicers split a triangular Wednesday evening at Beechwood. The Slicers defeated Merrillville 174-237, but fell to Portage by 1 shot 174-173. Lukas Albin, Aiden Mrozinski, and Luke Cannon all shot a 43 to lead the way. Burke Penziol added a 45. The JV defeated Portage 214-248. Gabe Younggreen had a 48, Logan Cooney 53, Ryan Rinker 55, and Phoenix Lowery 58. The Slicers will host Lake Central next Tuesday at Beechwood.
