Xander Daley drove in four runs on three hits to lead La Porte Slicers JV past Merrillville Junior Varsity Pirates 29-0 on Tuesday. Daley singled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the fourth inning, scoring one. La Porte Slicers JV jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after an error scored one run, Noah Combs singled, scoring one run, Jon Rinkel doubled, scoring two runs, Daley singled, scoring two runs, Nate Moses singled, scoring one run, James Morgan doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Rinkel drew a walk, scoring one run, Daley grounded out, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored one run. La Porte Slicers JV added one run in the second after Combs singled down the left field line. La Porte Slicers JV scored 11 runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning.
