LPGTF Shines at Mishawaka Princess Relays

The LaPorte Girls Track and Field Varsity squad had a great time competing at the Mishawaka Princess Relays on May 2, 2025. Although the team finished 13th out of 14 schools, the ladies ended the night with many personal records and one school record. The results were as follows: 3200m: Faith Spain (11:27.19) 3rd Place, Caylin VanShoyck (12:06.37) 9th Place 300m Hurdles: Lana Schable (51.20) 10th Place 4x100m Relay: Elizabeth Anglin, Ava Redlin, Susan Anglin, Kyria Zapala (53.71) 11th Place 4x200m Relay: Lana Schable, Ava Redlin, Piper Cushway, Kyria Zapala (1:55.15) 11th Place 4x400m Relay: Caitlyn Carnes, Maggie Conner, Madalyn Kreamer, Sioma Ohime (4:26.00) 12th Place 4x800m Relay: Maggie Conner, Caitlyn Carnes, Madalyn Kreamer, Faith Spain (10:10.39) 8th Place Sprint Medley Relay: Kyria Zapala, Susan Anglin, Taniya Campbell, Lana Schable (2:00.50) 12 Place 4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay: Elizabeth Anglin, Lana Schable, Ava Redlin, Madison Risner (1:12.93) 9th Place* Shot Put: Lilly Spain (22-01) 27th Place Discus: Alaina Jeffers (73-03) 25th Place, Lilly Spain (64-07) 27th Place High Jump: Susan Anglin (4'8") 11th Place Pole Vault: Anna Beck (8'0") 18th Place Long Jump: Amiah Thornton (14'5.5") 10th Place *A major congratulations to the 4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay comprising of Elizabeth Anglin, Lana Schable, Ava Redlin, and Madison Risner, who broke our school record with a time of 1:12.93. We are so proud of these ladies and cannot wait to see what else they are able to accomplish as our season continues.
