The Slicers golf team lost two matches Wednesday night at Youche Country Club. The Slicers lost to Crown Point 192-167, and lost to Valparaiso 192-172. Aiden Mrozinski led La Porte with a 44. Lukas Albin and Luke Cannon each shot 48, and Evan Hough rounded out the scoring with a 52. The JV slicers also lost to Crown Point 202-173, and to Valparaiso 202-198. Ryan Rinker had his best round and led the JV with a 45. Gabe Younggreen had a 51, Logan Cooney 52, Burke Penziol and Phoenix Lowery 54. Next up will be a triangular with Chesterton and Michigan City on Tuesday at Sand Creek Country Club.
