The LaPorte golf team shot their lowest team round of the season and split a triangular Thursday evening at Forest Park. LaPorte defeated Valparaiso 166-168, but lost to Crown Point 166-162. Luke Cannon led the way with a 40. Aiden Mrozinski, Lukas Albin, and Evan Hough each had 42. The JV Slicers shot a 197 but lost to Crown Point 171 and Valparaiso 173. Evan Sittig led with a 44. Gabe Younggreen followed with a 48, Logan Cooney 52, and Phoenix Lowery 53. The Slicers host the Uebele Invitational Friday morning at Beechwood at 9 AM.
