Varsity vs MUNSTER HIGH SCHOOL (20 - 20) Tie Slicers hosted the Mustangs Tuesday night in our first game ever at Kiwanis Stadium. The game was a defensive battle, Mustangs led 6-7 at the half and pulled away with two touchdown lead with 10 minutes remaining. The Slicer ladies battled to the end and tied the game with 8 seconds on the clock 20 - 20. The Slicer defense led the way with 3 interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, Lexi Dawsey led the charge on both sides of the ball, throwing a touchdown, catching a touchdown and a 2 pt try to tie the game and returned and interception for a touchdown. Rae Dawsey and Marlee Burger each deflected two passes and each had an interception. Emyah Haynes, Kyria Zapala and Serena Galvas pressured the QB all night, forcing bad throws and combining for 11 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss and a sack. The Slicers host Crown Point on Senior night next Tuesday, 6pm at Kesling for our final regular season game.
