Varsity vs Michigan City High School (4 - 1) Win JV had a hard fought loss 2-0 against the wolves but are making considerable improvements. The Varsity Slicers we able to secure a 4-1 win in a very physical and scrappy game. Slicers started off with a penalty kick by Anna Beck and then near the end of the first half Claire Huber was able to execute a well placed shot to increase the lead to 2-0. Just after halftime the Wolves #22 was able to place one in to narrow the gap. Then next 20 minutes were back and forth with allot of tenacious play both physically and mentally. The remaining 20 minutes were mostly Slicers applying continuous pressure resulting in the final 2 goals coming from Claire Huber. Lady Slicers showed great composure under pressure and collectively were able to secure this competitive conference game. Really good game for all involved. Great Job Slicers.
