Junior Varsity vs Bishop Noll Institute (1-1) Tie Varsity vs Bishop Noll Institute (2-3) Tie The Lady Slicers had one of those nights against a quality Bishop Noll team. Claire Huber started the game off with very good goal which TIED the single season scoring record for the Laporte Lady Slicers. Claire then showed she is all about the team with a beautiful assist to Senior Anna Beck who hit a banger from top of the box and went into halftime up 2-0. The lady Slicers held Bishop Noll to Zero great scoring opportunities whom benefitted from two debatable penalties compared to play throughout the game converting both. Bishop Noll capitalized from a good cross that was unfortunately inadvertently struck resulting in a own goal. Hard work and effort sometimes have disappointing results. Very proud of these young ladies never giving up.
