Slicers End Strong

The LaPorte Slicer Boys finished their season as a team at the New Prairie Regionals this weekend. The team battled sickness and injuries in their postseason races. Running without several of their best runners at Sectionals and Regionals. The Slicers were lead by Sophomore Caleb Rose. Caleb came in 26th place with a big personal record of 16:27, earning him a State Qualifying bid in the process. Reagan Buchanan continued his string of strong races, finishing in 51st and a new PR of 17:06. Finishing out the scoring for the Slicers were Luke Romine, Cam Ericson-Moffett and Brody Griffin. Caleb will compete at the State Finals in Terre Haute this upcoming Saturday. Go Slicers! KTBR!
