SCOTTSBURG, Ind. — Scottsburg Football is proud to announce that senior standout Garrett Boling has been selected to the Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) 3A Senior All-State Football Team. The honor recognizes Boling’s dominant two-way season and the impact he made on every Friday night for the Warriors. Boling was the definition of a complete football player for Scottsburg in 2025, anchoring the defense at linebacker while serving as a matchup nightmare at tight end. His blend of instincts, toughness, and leadership helped set the tone for a Warriors squad that consistently played fast, physical, and together. A Two-Way Difference Maker On offense, Boling was one of the most productive tight ends in the state across all classes. He finished the season with: 43 receptions 997 receiving yards 16 receiving touchdowns Long reception/TD of 87 yards Whether stretching the field down the seam or battling in the trenches to open lanes for the run game, Boling’s reliability and power gave Scottsburg an edge every week. Defensively, he was just as impactful. From sideline to sideline, Boling racked up stops and created turnovers, posting: 161 tackles 53 assists 17 tackles for loss 4 sacks 1 forced fumble 2 fumble recoveries 2 interceptions His ability to diagnose plays quickly, finish tackles, and deliver momentum-changing hits made him the heartbeat of the Warrior defense. As a linebacker, he paired high-level football IQ with relentless effort and physical play. At tight end, he brought the same toughness and competitiveness while using strong hands, precise routes, and powerful blocking to create mismatches all season long. Simply put, Garrett played like an All-State athlete every snap. Next-Level Attention Boling’s all-around performance hasn’t gone unnoticed at the next level. He has drawn strong interest from multiple programs, including offers from Stetson University (Division I), McPherson College (Division III/NAIA), and Capital University (Division III/NAIA). He has also received interest from Butler University, University of Indianapolis, Purdue University, and Ball State.
