The Scottsburg Warriorettes are postseason-bound and ready to tip off sectional play as they travel to Charlestown High School for the 2026 IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional #30. This year’s sectional features six teams: Scottsburg, Charlestown, Corydon Central, Madison, North Harrison, and Silver Creek, all competing for a championship and a spot in regional play. First-Round Matchup Scottsburg will open sectional action on Tuesday, February 3, facing Silver Creek in Game 1 with tipoff set for 6:00 PM (EST). The winner of that matchup will advance to Friday night to take on host Charlestown in the semifinals. Charlestown High School is a tobacco-free campus, and IHSAA tournament restrictions will be enforced, including no signs, banners, artificial noise devices, or live mascots. Championship Night The sectional championship game will take place Saturday night, with awards presented immediately following the contest. Net cutting will be permitted for the championship team, with fans allowed onto the court after the runner-up exits. The Scottsburg Warriorettes enter sectional play focused and determined, and Warrior fans are encouraged to make the trip to Charlestown and show their purple and gold pride as Scottsburg competes for a sectional title.
