Warriors Defeat Clarksville 77–41 at Meyer Gym

Scottsburg, Ind. — The Scottsburg Warriors put together a complete performance on both ends of the floor Thursday night, rolling past Clarksville 77–41 in front of the home crowd at Meyer Gym. From the opening tip, the Warriors set the tone with defensive pressure and unselfish offense, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back. Scottsburg forced 21 Clarksville turnovers and converted them into 28 points, while also winning the rebounding battle 33–20 and scoring 26 second-chance points. Scottsburg led 12–5 after the first quarter and continued to build momentum in the second period, taking a 30–12 advantage into halftime. The Warriors came out firing in the third quarter, extending the lead with strong ball movement and perimeter shooting, then closed the night with a dominant fourth quarter to secure the 36-point victory. The Warriors shot 49.2% from the field and knocked down 13 three-pointers, while recording 16 assists and 15 steals in one of their most balanced efforts of the season. Jaxon Owens led all scorers with 24 points, including six three-pointers, while Jarin Luttrell added 17 points. Garrett Boling chipped in 11 points and five assists, and Braden Cox finished with eight points, four assists, and three steals as Scottsburg showcased its depth and defensive intensity.
