The Scottsburg Warriors defeated the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies 67-57 in the IHSAA Class 3A State Championship Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, March 30th. Jack Miller scored 32 points to lead the Warriors to victory. It was the 3rd highest total in Class 3A state championship history. Kody Clancy added 20 points for the Warriors including 2 3-pointers that gave him a total of 82 on the season - a new school record breaking James Colwell's total set in the '97-'98 season. The Warriors finish the season 25-5 which matches the most wins in a season with the 1968-69 Warriors who went an amazing 25-1.
