The Scottsburg Warriors defeated North Harrison 6-0 on Monday thanks in part to five runs in the fourth inning. Garrett McClellan singled, scoring one run, Tanner Best singled, scoring on run, an error scored one run, and Brandt Kendall doubled, scoring two runs. The Warriors were the first to get on the board in the first when Dylan Roberts singled, scoring one run. McClellan earned the win for Scottsburg. The righty allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking none. Zach Miller took the loss for North Harrison. The starting pitcher went three and one-third innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits, striking out four and walking two. McClellan and Kendall each collected two hits for the Warriors. Kendall went 2-for-2 at the palte as the right fielder led the team with two runs batted in. Blake Kellems, Caden Hoehn, Miller and Easton Tucker each collected one hit for North Harrison. The Warriors are now 12-4 on the season. Their next game is against Madison on Tuesday.
